
The Pandemic Institute will hold its Scientific Meeting on the 1st and 2nd October 2025, at the Victoria Gallery & Museum in Liverpool.
As well as providing an opportunity to showcase some of the collaborative funded work from across the partnership, the event will bring together key industry, funder and government collaborators to reflect on the priorities and landscape of each sector in pandemic preparedness and response.
Invited speakers include:
- Prof Susan Hopkins, Chief Medical Advisor at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA)
- Dr Arminder Deol, Head of Data Science and Advanced Analysis, Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI)
- Prof Steven Riley, Director of the Data, Analytics and Surveillance directorate at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA)
- Dr Emmanuel Agogo, Director of Pandemic Threats Programme, FIND
- Prof Matthew Ashton, Director of Public Health, Liverpool City Council

Poster Abstract Submission
As part of meeting we are pleased to invite you to submit a poster abstract for consideration. Posters must cover an aspect of emerging threats or pandemic science, and we particularly encourage posters that show cross-collaborative working. You can submit your abstract here:
